MEMPHIS AREA PANHELLENIC ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION
Women’s Scholarship Application Guidelines
This application consists of two parts:
1. Completed application form
2. Personal statement including reasons for applying for this scholarship
All applicants will be reviewed based on scholarship, school activities, community involvement and personal statement.
Memphis Area Alumnae Panhellenic Association (MAAPA) funds may be used only for undergraduate tuition, fees, or books. Scholarship monies will be awarded by MAAPA to the school directly. If the recipient should withdraw from school during the school year in which the scholarship is rewarded, she must immediately refund the total amount of this scholarship to the Memphis Area Alumnae Panhellenic Association so that another woman can receive the scholarship.

The deadline for the submission of applications is April 10, 2017. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make sure all necessary forms are received by the deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

A scholarship applicant must:
- Be a permanent resident of the Mid-South and currently be enrolled as a senior in high school.
- Have plans to attend a college or university that has National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) or National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. (NPHC) sororities.
- Submit all pieces of the application to MAAPA by April 10.
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
